Chad at Bees&Trees is the best arborist I’ve ever worked with, and there have been more than a few. He is incredibly knowledgeable and generous in sharing his time and expertise. He and his team did a terrific job today pruning an overgrown red maple and some neglected aspens, at a very reasonable cost, and I am delighted with the results. Chad answered all my questions and offered advice on what I can do to keep the maple healthy. I won’t hesitate to call them again for any future tree work we need.
Chad is the best! Have been using Bees & Trees for years. He and his crew have removed a dozen dying, dead, or fallen Aspen trees. Have put braces in my autumn blaze maple trees. One that split, and the other two as a preventive measure. He recently pruned my three 40+ feet autumn blaze maple trees. We got a quote from 2 companies. The first company was the type where they charged $150+ to even ask a question, showed up for 15 minutes to look at our property, and then send over a quote. Bees & Trees' Chad came by, spent at least a half hour looking at all of our trees, spoke with my husband and answered all of his questions, gave us quote and a breakdown of what work needs done, what work can be or should be put off until fall, and what work could be put off for next year. He is so very knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves their trees. When they did the actual work they did it so quickly and professionally, they performed a full clean up, and Chad answered all the extra questions we had and gave us advice on where to plant trees now so that when our 3 problem trees inevitably need to come down we'll have trees ready to go to replace them. He also gave us advice on which species of trees to plant. For how professional and how great the work was, they are very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.
B&Ts service exceeded my expectations. I needed a few branches removed immediately so a roofer could access the roof and have clearance on the perimeter for his crew. That work was done within 1-2 days of the request. My crab-apple tree need some work that required a pruning date after the normal season to avoid possible problems with fire-blight. Rather than split the billing, B&T just delayed the minor up front work until Nov when the rest of the yard was being done. A small point to be sure but a thoughtful one that conveys a level of trust I appreciate. My last experience with a well know local group ended with a trampled yard and hundreds of dollars in damage from on the ground crew members disregarding borderlines of flower beds. I asked that B&T be careful of the same and I am pleased with their attitude and the results. I also added an Aspen removal at the last minute (hated that tree the orig owner planted it in the center of a bay window) and then requested that it be cut in small sections and loaded in my PU truck for delivery to a friend who will convert it to bowls. All handled with ease by B&T. I'll be keeping them on file as folks who took care of this project on time, were pleasant on the job and charged me a very fair price. Thanks Chad.
